    Une parcelle is an animated fresco where terroir and memory converge. From vineyards and Sicilian marketplaces to volcanic eruptions, this hand-painted film evokes a dialogue between earth, vine, and time — a lyrical meditation and a vibrant ode to life itself.

    Frédéric Lacroix-Loiselle

    He is a visual artist and self-taught filmmaker. After a decade of creating large-scale paintings abroad, he turned to stop-motion animation with Aracati (2018), followed by Festin en capsule (2020). He explored in situ animation with the 7 en 7 series (2021). Following a residency in Japan in 2024, he collaborated with Taiwanese artist MADZINE on the experimental video project A DOG-RAT/CROW. As co-founder of the Capsule 406 collective with composer Louis-François Richard, he creates hybrid works blending sound and image. His latest film, Une parcelle (2025), is inspired by his travels in Italy.
