In her stop motion video animation ‘Tree Story’ a narrative story makes space to a realm of meaning rooted in a complex emotional source. Anthropomorphic figures and larvae move in a neutral scenario inhabited only by minimal spatial details. As the events unfold we feel a strange uncertainty and indeterminacy. The tree eventually goes from being a symbol of life and generating nature to an image of abnormal and deformed vitality.
