Shiva Sadegh Asadi is an Iranian Painter and Filmmaker. She Started her career as a visual artist in 2005, then she continued her studies and graduated with a Master degree in Animation from University of Art, Tehran. She’s created short films and works of art over the past decade and her animated films including “The Kitten”(2013), Maned and Macho (2017), Crab (2020) and Stain (2022) are admired and awarded internationally. She follows the same concerns in her paintings and short films. Focusing on the inner world of human being, she usually works on themes such as dreams, dark fantasies, abuse, femininity, family, relationship and domestic violence.
