Travelling theatre troupes with their pagan roots and Christian Orthodox tradition are two seemingly opposite worlds, both mysterious and both enchanting to the author. Using abstract forms, inspiration from printmaking and folk art the film expresses the emotional and visual impact of a beautiful but disappearing world.

Yiorgos Tsangaris
Yiorgos Tsangaris is a graphic artist and experimental animation filmmaker. He is the founder and artistic director of Animafest Cyprus, the official International Animation Film Festival of Cyprus and one of the oldest film festivals in this country (founded 2002). He is the director of the Hambis Municipal Printmaking Museum in Nicosia. As a graphic artist and film curator in the last twenty years he has had important collaborations in the field of film festivals, theatre and major cultural organisations in Cyprus and internationally. He has curated guest programmes and has served as a jury member for numerous animation festivals around the world.
