    An owl, on a rainy night, ends up trapped in a child’s room. A mother, father, dog, and cat will put him in a difficult situation: will he be able to escape? An animated version of composer Paolo Ricci’s musical tale about Hugo the Owl.

    Elena Petkevich

    Director, screenwriter, art director, born in 1951. In 1974 she got a degree in Architecture. In 1986 she graduated from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and directors (Fyodor Khitruk and Yury Norshtein Studio). She cooperated with the Sverdlovsk film studio and Soyuzmultfilm. Since 1990 she has worked at Belarus Film National Film Studio. In 2013 her directorial effort Bach, from series Tales of the Old Piano, won the Golden Eagle prize as the Best Animated Film.
