Talk Magda Guidi
She studied Animated Cinema at the Scuola del Libro in Urbino. Author of animated short films, illustrator, teacher of animated cinema, she has collaborated in theatrical productions, short films, fiction, theme songs and commercials. “Ecco, è ora”, First prize at “Castelli Animati” in Rome. “Via Curiel 8” (Mara Cerri/Magda Guidi) winner of the Turin Film Festival, short film section. She recently worked on the films “Ferrante Fever” (G.Durzi-L.Buffoni, animations by Cerri/Guidi) and “Samouni Road” (S.Savona, animations by Simone Massi ), awarded as best documentary at the Cannes Film Festival, 2018. “Sogni al campo” (Mara Cerri/Magda Guidi, 2020) was selected in the Orizzonti section of the 77th Venice International Film Festival, and received a special mention at the “Animateka” Festival in 2020.

The Miracles of San Laszlo

The first official appearance of San Laszlo, a delirium of Magda Guidi’s quick felt tip pen drawings.Saint Laszlo is actually the strange character, a tightrope walker, who appears in “Sì, Però….”. Meanwhile, Laszlo has proclaimed himself a Saint and begins his amazing adventures.

The film is a comedy with a purely insane theme: the adventures of San Laszlo continue, this time grappling with a very fearsome St. Mary of Egypt. Apocalyptic battles between ravenous monsters, second-class saints, dishonest friends, inept gods, and resurrected punk rockers. Saint Laszlo dances, punches and kicks.
