    While his parents are entertaining friends, a child leaves home in the middle of the night into the undergrowth, rubber boots on his feet. There, a little creature, curious and solitary, takes him into the heart of the forest to meet the nocturnal inhabitants that live there.

    Pierre-Luc Granjon

    He studied at the Applied Art School of Lyon. In 1998 he began his career in animation in the studio Folimage and made his first two stopmotion films: Petite Escapade (2001) and Le Château des Autres (2003). Following, he directed two cutout paper films, L’enfant Sans Bouche (2004) and Le Loup Blanc (2006), which was awarded at festivals worldwide. With Antoine Lanciaux, he has also directed and written four 26-minutes puppet films: The four Seasons of Leon (2007, 2009, 2011, 2012). Among his other works there is The Inventor (2023) by Jim Capobianco: it is his first feature film as co-director.
