    Witold Giersz

    Director of animated films, Witold Griesz is one of the most important creators of Polish animation. In the years 1950-56 he worked at the Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała, and from 1956 he joined the Miniature Film Studio in Warsaw. Between 1985 and 1992 he was the artistic director of the Television Studio of Animated Films in Poland. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association, the Association of Polish Artists and the Association of Authors ZAIKS.
