    A reflection on how we define space and the feeling we call home through different perspectives and memories. The stylistic mixture of mixed-media and oil pastel animation derives from the director’s mindset and frame-by-frame approach, that enables her to explore various materials and formal possibilities. A mixture that allows her to capture authentic moments and reveal hidden narratives.

    Catalina Norambuena

    Chilean, Montréal-based artist, curious about everyday moments the relationship between people and their surroundings. She explores, through intuitive process, the combination of media, techniques and technologies which later become animated narratives. Her film Hogar was presented in festivals like the Festival du Nouveau Cinema RPCE, Los Angeles Animation Festival and Toronto Liftoff.
