They form the collective Calderón & Piñeros, artists and filmmakers based between
Berlin and Bogotá. Their projects develop new approaches to art and cinema through
hybrid perspectives and disciplines, questioning hegemonic forms of knowledge and
power. They think about displacement and recontextualization to explore alternative
presents and futures and to create connections between memory and the ruins of the
past, in order to question our assumptions about reality and linear readings of history
