Was born in Tehran, Iran, grew up in Berlin and studied Digital Filmmaking in Amsterdam. She graduated with a BA with High Honors from the Department of Radio Television and Film and pursued her Master’s degree in the Department of Visual Arts & Visual Communication in Cyprus. Since 2010, she also works on underwater photography and film. Sholeh has participated as a talent in the Berlinale Talent Campus 2016. In January 2016, Sholeh participated in a filmmaking workshop with maestro Abbas Kiarostami in Cuba where she made a short film mentored by him.
