    Body of a Shadow | Cuerpo de esta sombra | Il corpo di questa ombra

    While still asleep, a woman is dragged from her home by a large black mass. She is taken to a meadow where she finds a group of different women and girls who live in immobility and in untameable sporadic impulses. They are part of a community, which joins the large black mass, hunting for new women to be absorbed during the night.

    Andrea Muñoz Álvarez

    Her main field of work and exploration are experimental animation and audiovisual languages. She worked as an animator in the short film La Perra directed by Carla Melo which had its international premiere at Cannes Film Festival 2023. In 2021 she received funding to direct her first animated short film Body of a Shadow which premiered at Tricky Women Tricky Realities. She worked as a Production Coordinator for Dinamita Animación. She is a member of Porosa Animación (artist collective focusing on the investigation, screening and production of experimental animation). She is a professor at the Graduate Course in Experimental Animation at the Xavierian University.
