    Bakari was born a slave in Gambia. He left his country to join his father who was working in Libya, only to find himself at 18 on a boat in the middle of the Mediterranean, alone and without strength. Joy left home one morning to go jogging and never saw her family again. Moustapha had to run away. Danielle went to “seek life” for her and her son. And there are many others: 14 voices tell other stories that perhaps are part of only one.

    Claudia Cataldi

    She graduated in Photography in 2005. She works as a fashion, industrial and still-life photographer for clients such as Fabriano and LeClotilde. Since 2009 she has specialized in cinematographic photography and coloring. She co-founded The Factory

    Elena Poggioni

    Born in 1991, she graduated in Political Science in 2016 and in 2018 obtained a master’s degree in European Planning for Culture and Multimedia. She began her career with theater, graduating in 2013 as an actress at the Intercity School and working as an assistant director and theater operator. In 2013 she founded The Factory. In 2024 she made the doc Hung Land.

    Stefano Poggioni

    Director and editor, specialized in directing at the Cinecittà Film Academy. In 2013 he founded the production company and collective The Factory, for which he directed numerous projects, including short films and videoclips. He has collaborated with important brands, creating commercials for companies such as Sony and Gucci. In 2024, he produced a documentary on the war in Ukraine – Hung Land.
