Pauline, a beguiling woman in her 60s, returns to Turin, her hometown, where she contacts the psychologist Angela Gualtieri, runner of a maternity centre called “Melograno”, where mothers to be and young mothers with post natal depression seek help. The more Pauline frequents the support centre the more she plunges deep into an emotional material that touches her strongly: the controversial feelings experienced by women in their relation with the child.

Alina Marazzi

Director of documentaries, fiction and theatre, she trained in the 1980s in London and then alternated documentary and television direction, work as assistant director for cinema, collaboration with other artistic realities (Studio Azzurro, Fabrica) and involvement with social realities (video workshops in prison). Her films have received awards and recognition at international festivals and have been broadcasted on television in Italy and abroad. She also holds lessons and seminars in schools both in Italy and abroad. She is the artistic director of the Roman festival Unarchive Found Footage Fest together with Marco Bertozzi.
